Fashion has always been something I love. When I was younger getting into fashion just didn’t seem like a sensible career option to really get ahead. For starters I wasn’t that into sewing, my school report even said ‘She is quite good for someone who doesn’t enjoy it’. And I really didn’t think enough about what else was out there for me to get in to. As a teenager, it seemed a smart decision to go to Uni and then get a job where I could earn straight away and move up in a career.
The way social media has evolved there are now so many paths to be involved in fashion without having to actually be a designer or work on the floor in retail (which I did during Uni days). Access to wholesalers is far more accessible now and the ability to appeal to a wide online market is easier than ever.
For me to dabble in this fun world of fashion, have products, and create my own shop vibe I have launched Heidi & Kate Boutique. I have GORGEOUS earrings and necklaces that are stunning, stylish and some simple. My addiction to shopping for beautiful things has been something I can delve into each day, and hopefully, others out there love what I have available.
